1,Introduction 介紹 The mechanical properties of particulates-filled polymers are significantly influenced by interfacial interactions, which depend on the interfacial compatibility and interfacial adhesion between the particulates and the matrix (Demjén et al., 1998). 粒子填充聚合物的力學(xué)性能受到界面相互作用的顯著影響,而界面相互作用又取決于界面相容性和顆粒與基體界面結(jié)合強(qiáng)度(Demjén 等 ,1998)。 There is a growing interest to study the interface of CaCO3 particles-filled polymer composites due to the particle aggregation induced by increase of surface free energy of nano-CaCO3 particles. Polymer alloys with superior mechanical properties can be prepared by blending two or more polymers with similar polarity and good compatibility. Qian et al. (2002) demonstrated that the toughness of SiO2/PC composites prepared by emulsion polymerization was markedly improved if PMMA-g-SiO2 were used as fillers. Wu et al.(2002) indicated that the interfacial adhesion, toughness and intension of nano-SiO2/PP composites were improved if SiO2 nanoparticles was graft-modified with PS and PEA by radiation polymerization.
